Sweetwater Jaycee snake handler David Sager, of Sweetwater, Texas, shows a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake to the crowd from the demonstration pit during the 47th annual Worlds Largest Rattlesnake Round-up at the Nolan County Coliseum in Sweetwater, Texas, on Saturday, March 12, 2005. The Rattlesnake Round-up was started in 1968 by a group of farmers and ranchers to rid the area of its overpopulation of rattlesnakes. The 2005 Rattlesnake Round-up brought in over 5,000 pounds of Western Diamondback Rattlesnakes.
